Set in the unmarked and atmospheric In The Lowest Ferns— A mystical space rooted in the Historic West Bottoms of Kansas City—this night invites you to explore the depths of music and community. Infinite Frequencies is more than just a party. It's a celebration of the cosmic dance where rhythm, space, and energy converge. “Music brings us together and transcends all things.” This month we welcome Maxx and Room96: Maxx DJ Maxx is a seminal figure in the underground dance music scene, renowned for his vast collection of rare and influential tracks. His deep musical journey began in the eclectic record stores of his hometown, and over two decades, he has become a cornerstone of the dance community. Maxx was a resident DJ at the Oxygen Room in Club XO, where he helped launch the first underground dance music night in a mainstream club setting. This pioneering residency was crucial in bringing the genre to a wider audience and cementing its place in the local nightlife scene. In addition to his pivotal role at Club XO, Maxx has shared stages with influential figures such as Theo Parrish and Pat Nice, further enriching his DJ credentials. His ability to weave together diverse musical threads attracts a dedicated following wherever he plays. Maxx also had a memorable experience opening for the legendary Giorgio Moroder, which showcased his skill in blending classic and contemporary sounds. A long-time DJ partnership with Joc Max has also marked his career, where their collaborative sets are celebrated for their depth and musical synergy. Together, they’ve created some of the most memorable nights for dance music aficionados. DJ Maxx continues to push the boundaries of dance music, creating unforgettable experiences with his unique blend of passion and expertise. Room96 KC’s own sibling duo Ace & Witty — repping the rising collective Room96 — bring a sound that feels both brand new and deeply familiar. A raw, soulful frequency built for bodies in motion and minds wide open. From LFK to Kc Room96’s past lineups speak for themselves: Gum.mp3, Boy2000, dazegxd, Niontay, TAH — always pushing boundaries in the scene, the community, and challenging their guests while pushing sonic boundaries. We’ve repurposed a massive, vintage military tent, equipped it with our HI-FI sound system, and set up camp right in the heart of the West Bottoms. BOY2000: boy 2000 is the project of Kansas City-based producer Grant Wood, known for blending breakbeats, vocal samples, and atmospheric textures into a sound that feels both liminal and nostalgic during his immersive live sets. He recently gained attention with the release of tape 2000, a mixtape that invites listeners to explore the future they always wanted. Robert Gallardo (AWGE): Creative director at A$AP ROCKY's agency AWGE, touches down from Miami to bring us a night of Afro-house, Baile-house, + Hip Hop / House. Mr.Bungalow: An unforgettable culmination of rhythm, energy, and celestial sound, Dante Walton, aka Mr. Bungalow— DJ, visionary and co-owner behind BARRACA and In The Lowest Ferns. Mr.B grabs the HIFI Keys to deliver a electric and transcendent closing set that is guaranteed to leave all hypnotized. Progressive Nights ft. SYENCE (LA), Julian Gray, ALIZA , WNTRS DEEP, Kinner Curating life long experiences and elevating the electronic scene of Kansas City through the intricacies of progressive sounds. Music is a universal language, we are dedicated to showcasing local talent our city offers. ft. SYENCE (LA) and Julian Gray (Seattle) Zach Montoya and Brayden James, Brought together by a shared love of live music and production, they formed the electronic duo Syence. The sound today consists of melodic, high-tempo grooves as they continue exploring a mix of artists like Odesza, Rufus du Sol, Lane 8, and Fred Again...’s sounds blended into one. To date, Syence has released music with label partners Anjunabeats, Ophelia, mau5trap, Armada Music, Th3rd Brain, Insomniac Records’ imprint Lost In Dreams, Sam Feldt’s Heartfeldt imprint on Spinnin’, Seminal, and Snakehips’ Never Worry Records, to name a few. They also released their debut album “next to happiness” with Create Music Group. Syence has performed on some of Dance Music’s largest stages including Countdown, Lost Lands, Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge, Breakaway, and Hijinx.
